I stayed at the Kingswell Hotel Tongji Shanghai in Shanghai for a week to connect with the project. After swimming, I leaned back on the wicker chair and took a few sips, and the soreness and bloating all over my body instantly dissipated. The water temperature in the swimming pool remains stable at 28 degrees all year round, even during the rainy season when you come ashore, you won't feel cold. The hot water in the shower room on the shore comes out in seconds, and the matching shower gel and hair conditioner are moisturizing. After washing, you don't need to bring your own personal protective equipment, and it's completely safe to travel light during business trips.
The billiards room and sauna hidden deep in the recreational area are treasures I accidentally dug up. The solid wood table is polished to a shiny finish, and the texture of the golf clubs is particularly good when held in the hand. After a meeting with colleagues, if you don't want to immediately go back to your room to change the plan, you can make an appointment to play billiards for half an hour without having to go out to find a gym, saving a lot of commuting time. The area of the sauna is clean and private. After steaming for twenty minutes, you can exhaust all the fatigue of the whole day. When you come out, you can lie down on the smart massage chair next to you and massage your shoulders and neck with just the right amount of force. It's even more comfortable than going to a massage parlor outside.
The most surprising thing was the aerial observation terrace on the top floor. After finishing work in the evening, we went to sit for a while. The city lights of Yangpu slowly lit up. In the distance, we could see the students running at night on the playground of Tongji campus. The wind wrapped in the fragrance of wutong trees, and even time slowed down. There are also free iced tea and small Dim sum on the terrace. Sitting here to blow the wind, the anxiety of changing the plan in the daytime will disappear.
I used to think that business trips could only take place between hotels and venues, but this time at Kingswell Hotel Tongji Shanghai, I realized that good recreational facilities are not just a gimmick for hotels, but a small escape for busy guests to catch their breath.
